SPOKANE, Wash. – ROOT Sports unveiled its 2021 Big Sky football lineup Monday, and the network announced it will air Southern Utah University's trip to Missoula to take on Montana.
The Thunderbirds and Grizzlies will do battle on October 30. All ROOT Sports game dates and times are subject to change. Kickoff time for the game will be announced at a later date.
SUU last played Montana in 2018 when the Grizzlies defeated the Thunderbirds in Cedar City. The T-Birds most recent victory against Montana occurred in 2012 in the form of a 30-20 decision.
Southern Utah now has television plans set for three of its 11 games. The season opener at San Jose State will be aired on CBS Sports Network while the ensuing contest at Arizona State will be broadcast on the Pac-12 Network. Other broadcast plans, along with kickoff times, will be announced as they become available.
