CEDAR CITY, UTAH -- The Thunderbirds made 23 three-pointers in a 124-59 rout of West Coast Baptist in SUU's final home non-conference game of the season. The 23 made three-pointers surpassed the previous record of 20, set in 2023.

- The Thunderbirds had EIGHT players score in double figures.
- Dylan Jones led the team with 26 points on 10-18 from the field and six made triples.
- Logan Stephens scored 17 points in just 11 minutes off the bench on 6-7 from the field.
- Lorenzo Abellar had a stellar double-double, scoring 10 points and dishing 10 assists.

The Eagles tied the game at 6-6 three minutes in, and then the Thunderbirds went on a 10-5 run over the next seven minutes to blow the game open.
SUU then closed out the half on a 14-1 run that saw the Thunderbirds take a 61-26 lead into the halftime break.
SUU shot 54% from the field in the first half and 41% from deep. The nine three-pointers in the first half surpassed the T-Birds' season-high in made three-pointers this season.
The second half was all Dylan Jones. He scored 24 of his 26 points in the second 20 minutes, including going 6-10 from deep.
The Thunderbirds had 81 points off the bench and 46 points in the paint. They also had an outstanding 57-28 rebounding advantage, including 17 to 4 on the offensive glass.
Lorenzo Abellar recorded 10 points and 10 assists with zero turnovers.
The Thunderbirds were just three assists shy of breaking the SUU single-game record as well, dishing up 32 total assists.

The Thunderbirds will close out non-conference play with three straight road games, starting in Corvallis, Oregon on Saturday, December 6, against Oregon State at 3:00 p.m.
