OUT 2014:

• Competed in three meets durning the outdoor season, racing the 800-meter, 1500-meter. 3000-meter steeple chase, and 5000-meter

IN 2014: 

• Competed in four meets during the indoor season, racing the 1,000-meter, 3,000-meter, mile, and 5,000 meter
• Placed fourth at the UW Invitational in Seattle, WA

XC 2013: 

• Competed in 5 meets during the cross country season
• Placed 6th overall at the Big Sky Championships
• Went on to finish 45th at the regional championships

Before SUU:

• Ran two years at San Diego Mesa College under head coach Thom Hunt
• Recorded personal bests of 9:07 in the 3,000-meter steeplechase and 14:29 in the 5k
• Captured a state championship in the 5k and steeplechase

Prep:

• Four-year letter winner in cross country, wrestling and track & field at Mount Miguel HS
• Three-time sportsmanship award recipient
• Earned all-state honors in cross country

Personal:

• Parents are Art and Michele Marx
• Majoring in sociology
