Ziemann was a standout guard at Loyola Marymount University where she helped lead her team to the school's first WCC Championship and a first round NCAA tournament appearance. She was voted team captain both her junior and senior year and was given the P.R.I.D.E award her senior year.  During her four years at Loyola Marymount she worked and coached LMU basketball camps and clinics.

At the conclusion of her collegiate career, Ziemann played professionally overseas for Amazone, Netherlands from 2006-2007. She led the team to a Final Four and Semi-final appearance and started in Netherlands All-Star game.

Ziemann spent the 2008-09 season coaching at Edison High School where she helped lead the Chargers to a Sunset League Championship and a CIF Finals appearance.  Edison advanced to the quarterfinals in State and finished with an overall record of 25-5.  She has also been an assistant coach with the highly successful Orange County Swish "Black" basketball club with Coaches Dan Wiley and Russ Davis.

Ziemann is a 2002 graduate of Edison High School and as a two-sport athlete, she lettered four times in basketball and twice in track.  She earned her Bachelor's degree in Business Management with a minor in Economics at LMU in 2006.

"I couldn't be happier to have Bianca on our coaching staff.  Bianca was an excellent player both on the collegiate level and professionally," head coach JR Payne said.  "As a point guard, she was always a great coach on the floor and she will continue to be a great coach here at SUU as well.  Her enthusiasm and energy is boundless and she is a great asset to the success of our program."
