SORENSEN INVITED TO 2013 NFLPA
COLLEGIATE BOWL
College All-Star Game to be held at The
Home Depot Center in Carson, Calif. on January 19, 2013
WASHINGTON,
D.C. - The NFL Players Association is proud to announce that Southern Utah
University quarterback Brad Sorensen has committed to playing in the 2013 NFLPA
Collegiate Bowl.
The
Grand Terrace, Calif. native will be one of the talented draft-eligible seniors
competing on January 19 at The Home Depot Center on the campus of California
State University Dominguez Hills in Carson, Calif. Sorensen was recently named
a finalist for the Walter Payton Award for the most outstanding offensive
player in the Division I Football Championship Subdivision.
Sorensen
leaves SUU as the school's all-time leading passer. He holds all of the school's
career and single-season passing records as well as most of its total yards
records. He finished his three-year career at SUU with 9,445 passing yards and 61 touchdowns, including 3,139 yards and 23 TDs in 2012.

For one
week preceding the NFLPA Collegiate Bowl, participants will receive an in-depth introduction
to the union - the primary resource for information on the business of football
and how to succeed in the NFL and in post-football careers.
Pro-football
players and coaching legends will work with the game's future stars, giving
them first-hand insight on what it takes to win on and off of the field. Herm Edwards and Dick Vermeil will serve as the head coaches for the American and
National Teams. Player Ambassadors for the game include former
NFL standouts Terrell Davis, Lorenzo Neal and Andre Reed.
