2012-13 Gymnastics Signees Excel at Nationals

HAMPTON, Va. - Southern Utah University gymnastics 2012-13 signees, Baylie Divino, Stacie Webb and Arlyn Amor, recorded several top-10 finishes at the Level-10 Club Nationals over the weekend.

Divino recorded a top-10 finish on the uneven bars, finishing ninth and narrowly missed out on a top-20 finish in the all-around, finishing 21st in the field of 56.

Webb and Amor, competing in a session of 57 gymnasts, finished fourth and 23rd, respectively in the all-around. Armor, the reigning national bar champion, was unable to defend her title on the event after suffering a tough fall, but came back to finish sixth on floor and seventh on vault.

Webb tied with Amor on vault in seventh place and finished second on the balance beam en route to her fourth-place finish in the all-around with a 38.025.

The trio will join fellow signees, Kiki Parenteau and Natalie Trejo, when the 2012-13 gymnastics season begins in January.
