COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Southern Utah women's basketball fell to UC Davis, 53-76, to snap its five-game winning streak.

The game tied at 17 with nine minutes remaining in the first half before Ashleigh Munns broke the tie with a three to put the Thunderbirds ahead. UC Davis outscored Southern Utah throughout the remaining minutes to round out the half, 35-28.

UC Davis launched the second half with a three to take a 10-point lead over the Thunderbirds before doubling its lead, 59-39, with just less than 10 minutes remaining. The Aggies kept the scoring rolling to tally a 76-53 win.

Hailey Mandelko and Desiree Jackson led the Thunderbirds with 16 points each. Munns added three assists.

Jackson was named to the Air Force all-tournament team.

Southern Utah continues its preseason play by hosting UNLV on Saturday, Dec. 13, at 7 p.m. in the Centrum Arena.
