CEDAR CITY, Utah – To open another exciting season of SUU basketball, the ThunderKids Club at Southern Utah University invites you to the annual Thunderbird Basketball Bash presented by Sub Zero Ice Cream. The event will be held on Saturday, October 31 from 1 - 2:30 p.m. in the Centrum Arena and is open to the public. 

Following the success of last year's Bash, will allow fans and ThunderKids to join the men's and women's basketball teams on the court for pictures, games, drills and complimentary Sub Zero ice cream. 

“We really appreciate the support we receive from the community and this is a terrific way to start the season,” stated men's head coach Nick Robinson. “We look forward to having a great time.”

Everyone in attendance will also get to tour the Centrum Arena, pick up the new SUU basketball schedule posters and some Thunderbird Basketball gear. Both teams will be on hand to sign autographs and greet the fans.

Residents of Cedar City and students alike are invited to come meet the teams and join in on the fun. ThunderKids are encouraged to wear their official club t-shirts to get extra attention from Thor. The ice cream and activities are open to all at no cost.
