CEDAR CITY, Utah – The Thunderbirds put up another triple-digit game to extend their home winning streak and elevate over the Life Pacific Warriors for a 101-56 victory. 

"The team translated the lessons from those two games to this game," head coach Todd Simon said. "And it made the world of difference on defense."

Southern Utah ended the game with five Thunderbirds in double-digits. Jacob Calloway led the way with 18. Christian Musoko added 17 as Randy Onwuasor, Decardo Day, and Ivan Madunic each posted 13. 

"Calloway is a traditional freshman going through his process. He's continuing to develop on the defensive end. He's trying like crazy," said Simon. "As his body matures, he's going to be a phenomenal asset for us. He's producing for us—no question."

Calloway was the only player to finish with a double-double, posting 18 points and 12 rebounds. 

"We were running our sets right, playing good, preparing for the next game, and finishing the game out strong," Calloway said. "We had a little lapse in the second half, but we picked it back up and started playing really well."

Life Pacific led at 8-7 before the Thunderbirds took a massive 26-2 run to explode over the Warriors for a 33-10 advantage. 

Southern Utah held a comfortable lead throughout the remainder of the game to seal the 101-56 lead. 

By the numbers: 

• SUU's bench put up 43 points
• The Thunderbirds shot 46.2% from the field
• SUU led for just under 38 minutes of the game
• Decardo Day posted a career-high with 13 points
• The T-Birds shot 88.9% from the free throw line
• SUU's largest lead was by 48 with 1:41 to play
• SUU finished with 52 rebounds to LPC's 28
