CEDAR CITY, Utah - The Southern Utah women's basketball team will return home this week to host Sacramento State and Portland State for Big Sky rematches.

The Lady T-Birds are coming off of two road losses last week, a 66-67 loss to Weber State and a 47-80 loss to Idaho State.
Harley Hansen was the leading scorer on the weekend with a 11 points against the Wildcats and 12 points against the Bengals for a combined 23 points. Breanu Reid had 15 points in the loss to Weber State.
The Thunderbirds are currently tied with Portland State for the best three-point field goal percentage defense in the Big Sky, holding teams to 28.1 percent from beyond the arc. They are also second in offensive rebounds (13.2 per game), third in steals (8.1 per game) and third in turnover margin (+1.0).
Scouting Report: Sacramento State Hornets (8-12, 4-8 BSC)
Since beating the Thunderbirds 77-76 back on January 19 in Sacramento, the Hornets are 2-4 with wins over Eastern Washington and Weber State.
Hannah Friend and Kennedy Nicholas lead the Hornets in scoring with Friend averaging 18.9 points per game, the 43rd best average in the country, and Nicholas averaging 14.4 ppg. Nicholas also averages 11.9 rebounds per game to lead the team.
The last three matchups between the Thunderbirds and the Hornets have been decided by six points or less.
Scouting Report: Portland State Vikings (17-4, 9-3 BSC)
The Vikings are coming off of back-to-back wins over Northern Colorado and Sacramento State and have won three of their last four games, all at home in the Viking Pavilion.
They have three players averaging over 12 points per game with redshirt senior Sidney Rielly leading the way at 15.4 ppg. Jordan Stotler is the Vikings' leading rebounder with 7.2 per game.
The Vikings took the first matchup against the Thunderbirds this season 63-49 in Oregon. Courtney West set a PSU single-game record with nine blocks in the win.

Thursday's game against the Vikings is set to tip off at 6:30 p.m. and Saturday's game against the Hornets is set for 2:00 p.m.
