CEDAR CITY, Utah - The Southern Utah women's basketball teams will play their final games inside the America First Event Center this season as they host the Montana Grizzlies on March 2 and the Montana State Bobcats on March 4.
Last Time Out
The Lady T-Birds went on their final two-game road trip last week, taking on Eastern Washington and Idaho. They dropped both games, falling to 3-14 in Big Sky conference play and 6-20 overall on the season.
Ashley Larsen scored 17 points against the Eagles and 14 points against the Vandals for a combined 31 points on the weekend. She also had three steals and three blocks.
Scouting Report: Montana Grizzlies (12-13, 7-9 BSC)
The Lady Griz are coming off of losses to Northern Colorado and Montana State and find themselves currently in seventh place in the Big Sky standings.
McKenzie Johnston leads the team in scoring average (12.1 points per game) while Jace Henderson leads Montana in rebounding with 8.4 rebounds per game. Henderson is the conference leader in field goal percentage and is fourth in the Big Sky in rebounding.
Montana has won the last eight games between the two teams and hold an all-time series lead of 17-1.
The Lady Griz took the first matchup of the season back in December in Missoula 57-79.
Scouting Report: Montana State Bobcats (14-12, 9-7 BSC)
The Bobcats have won their last two games, a 75-71 win over Montana and a 72-59 win over Weber State. They currently hold the fifth spot in the Big Sky standings and would get the final bye in the tournament if it started today.
Claire Lundberg leads the Bobcats in scoring and is seventh in the Big Sky averaging 17.0 points per game. Blaire Braxton is the Bobcats' leading rebounder, averaging 5.8 rebounds per game.
The Bobcats won the first game between the two teams 69-64 in Bozeman.

Saturday's game against the Grizzlies is set to tip off at 1:00 p.m. with Monday's game set to tip off at 6:30 p.m. Both games will be streamed live on PlutoTV channel 236 and live stats will be available at tbirdstats.com.
Monday's game will be Senior Night for the lone T-Bird senior, Breanu Reid. A pre-game ceremony honoring Reid will be held prior to tip off.
