CEDAR CITY, Utah -- This season the Thunderbird men's basketball team will be participating in the Maui Jim Maui Invitational on the Mainland, with two Opening Games scheduled as well as two Regional Games. 

Southern Utah's two opening games will be against big time opponents, as they'll travel to Provo to face off against Brigham Young University on November 13, along with a trip to Westwood to face off against UCLA on November 18.  

The T-Birds are 0-11 all-time against the Cougars, and last faced off against them in 2007. 

The Thunderbirds will also play in a pair of Regional Games hosted by East Tennessee State University. They'll take on Charleston Southern on November 23, and will take on either Delaware State or East Tennessee the following day. 

Southern Utah's full schedule will be announced on a later date.
