BELLEVUE, Wash. - HERO Sports announced their 2020-21 All-America Teams on Wednesday morning and Southern Utah quarterback Justin Miller was named to the FCS Sophomore All-America Team.
Miller threw for 1,713 yards in six games as quarterback for the Thunderbirds. He had a 65.68 completion percentage with 15 touchdowns and only four interceptions.
The redshirt sophomore was third in the Big Sky in total offense and passing average per game, averaging 285.5 yards per game. His 15 touchdown passes were also the second most in the conference, behind only Eastern Washington's Eric Barriere.
Miller led an offense that finished fifth in the Big Sky in scoring, averaging 26.5 points per game.
This is the second postseason award for Miller after he was named to the Big Sky All-Conference Honorable Mention team in April.

The Thunderbirds will open their 2021 season at San Jose State on August 28.
