CEDAR CITY, Utah – The Southern Utah University women's basketball team narrowly knocked off Portland State in its last contest via a last-second free throw from Darri Dotson, and will now travel to Portland for a rematch with the Vikings on their home floor.

-Southern Utah enters Monday night's game having won seven of its last eight contests.

-SUU and PSU have met seven times while Tracy Sanders has been head coach of the Thunderbirds. After defeating the Vikings on Thursday, SUU owns a 4-3 advantage during that time.

-The T-Birds and Vikings last met on Thursday when Southern Utah narrowly escaped with a one-point victory. With the game tied, Darri Dotson was fouled with less than a second left and connected on one free throw to give the Thunderbirds the victory.

-Southern Utah is the top scoring offense in the Big Sky Conference with an average of 73.8 points per game.

ABOUT PORTLAND STATE (5-11, 0-8 Big Sky)

-Portland State comes into Thursday's game looking for its first conference win of the season. The Vikings are 5-11 overall, and have lost six straight.
