DENVER, Colo. - The Western Athletic Conference has announced changes to the 2022 conference schedule following the loss of two schools from the conference for the 2022-2023 fiscal year.

Southern Utah's first eight games will remain the same; but, the Thunderbirds will now have a bye week when they were originally scheduled to play at Lamar on Saturday, October 29. 

SUU's original bye week was scheduled for November 5, but now they will travel to Utah Tech to take on their in-state rivals for a second time. The contest at Utah Tech will be a non-conference game since the two programs will play a conference matchup in Cedar City on September 24.

The Thunderbirds game at Sam Houston has been pushed back a week and is now set to be SUU's final regular season game on Saturday, November 19.
