"We are so proud of Dre," said SUU Head Coach Todd Simon. "He had a storied career at SUU and worked himself into becoming a professional basketball player. We look forward to following all of his success."
Marin was a five-year starter for Southern Utah, putting together a legendary career throughout his time wearing a Thunderbird uniform. Marin appeared in 152 total contests for SUU while making 145 starts, both of which set new program records. Marin also set a new Big Sky Conference record, appearing in 91 conference games, the most in Big Sky history.

"This is an opportunity that I've dreamed about since I was a little kid, and to see it come true just makes me want to work even harder. The fact that I can make a living and travel the world all because of an orange ball is mind blowing to me. I'm incredibly grateful and super excited for this start to my professional career."
