CEDAR CITY, UTAH -- Thunderbird's Men's Basketball is off to a 2-0 start and will have a great opportunity to build on that when Bethesda University of California and Nebraska-Omaha visit Cedar City on November 12 and 16, respectively.

"We are off to a pretty good start, and we have an opportunity to continue that, with two more home games to open the year. The guys are figuring out what is important, and are buying in to the things myself and the coaching staff are teaching them."

The Thunderbirds

They're averaging 76 points per game and allowing 71 to their opponents. They shoot just under 40% from three and have already made 27 threes on the year.
Marquel Sutton leads the Mavericks in scoring with 14 points per game and seven rebounds. JJ White averages 11 points per game, and Ja'Sean Glover comes in at 10. Both players shoot 57% from three.
