CEDAR CITY, UTAH -- The SUU Men's Basketball team improved to 3-0 after pouring it on Bethesda (CA), 107-54. Thunderbirds first time scoring over 100 points since November of 2023.

Top T-Birds
- Xavier Sykes led the team with 12 points on 3-6 from the field. He also had an assist and three rebounds.
- Lorenzo Abellar played 18 minutes and didn't find the scoring column, but he had a team-high seven assists and four steals.
- Brock Felder scored eight points on a perfect 3-3 from the field and 2-2 from the free throw line. He also led the team with seven rebounds.
- 15 different Thunderbirds scored in the contest.
Game Recap
The Thunderbirds jumped out to a 10-0 lead and never looked back. Bethesda didn't score its first point until 14:29.
SUU led by as many as 53 on the night, and 73 of the 107 points scored were from the bench.
The Thunderbirds had a season-high 22 assists on the game and made 10 of 28 threes. They continued to shoot the ball well from the field, coming in at just under 49%. The T-Birds also improved from the free-throw line, making 25 of their 34 attempts.
Perhaps the highlight of everybody's night was senior walk-on Cade Brazier scoring his first collegiate points. He finished the game with four points after making a layup and two free throws.
