RENO, Nev. - The Southern Utah University women's basketball team dropped their second game of the Nugget Classic on Nov. 30 to the University of Nevada, Reno, in a 72-54 fight. Impressive three-point shooting from Thunderbird Sydney Gandy wasn't enough as SUU fell to 1-7, while the Wolf Pack boosted their record to 4-4.
Head Coach Tracy Mason Said:
"I thought Syd played really well today and yesterday too. Denver had some huge minutes and really played hard. Our second half was better, but we're still working to string 4 quarters together."
