CEDAR CITY, Utah - The Southern Utah University women's basketball team will travel to Boulder, Colo., to face off against the 7-2 University of Colorado Buffs on Saturday, Dec. 7 at 1:00 p.m.

Matchup History
The Thunderbirds
With a challenging early schedule of road games, Southern Utah is 1-8 on the season. In their last outing against Central Michigan University, the team shot a perfect nine of nine from the free-throw line and recorded a season-low in turnovers.
Sydney Gandy has emerged as the Thunderbirds' leading scorer with 10.9 points per game, also leading the team in assists and steals. Jaeden Brown leads the team defensively with 5.4 RPG and a team-high five blocks.

The University of Colorado Buffs
The Buffs score 74 PPG, shooting 45.8% from the field. While their strong passing attack averages 18.9 assists per game, it also leads to an average of 17.2 turnovers, which Southern Utah will look to take advantage of.
The Colorado offense runs through Kindyll Wetta, one of only four players in NCAA Division I with 60+ assists. Lior Garzon and Jade Masogayo lead the team in scoring, each at nearly 12 PPG.
