EDINBURG, TEXAS -- The SUU Men's Basketball team closed out the season with a win over the UTRGV Vaqueros, 68-59.
The Thunderbirds finished the season 10-21 overall and 5-15 in WAC play.
"The most important thing about tonight was that we showed that even when we have no reason to play hard, we know it's our last game, we can still come out and work hard and fight for one another and get a win. That is the culture that we as a coaching staff are trying to establish, and I am really proud of the guys," said Head Coach Rob Jeter.
