CEDAR CITY, Utah - The Mountain Pacific Sports Federation (MPSF) has spoken again. . The Meridian, Idaho, native continues to make waves in her debut season, delivering another electrifying performance to help the Flippin' Birds take down BYU on the road.

"Mia just keeps getting better every week. To see a freshman come in and dominate like this is rare. She's putting in the work, and it's paying off. We're so proud of how she's stepping up and delivering for the team."
Hampton claimed her first all-around victory of the season, posting an impressive 38.875. Her highlight of the meet came on the uneven bars, where she nailed a spectacular routine to score a meet-best 9.875. She also delivered strong contributions on vault (9.700), floor (9.725), and beam (9.575), showcasing her consistency across all four events.

Hampton's stellar all-around performance powered the Flippin' Birds to victory over the Cougars, further solidifying her role as a key contributor to Southern Utah's early-season success. Her second MPSF Freshman of the Week honor underscores her ability to rise to the occasion week in and week out, cementing her status as one of the league's brightest newcomers.

The Flippin' Birds will have a short break in the schedule before heading back to Provo to take on the Cougars and conference foe UC Davis in a tri-meet on January 31. The meet will begin at 6:30 p.m. MT in the Marriot Center. The meet will be available to stream on ESPN+, and live stats can be found on virti.us.
