SUU Women's Golf Team Ready To Tee It Up in New Mexico

CEDAR CITY, UTAH -- The SUU Women's Golf team has had nearly a month off between tournaments, but they have been working hard and are ready to compete at the Golf Iconic Classic hosted by New Mexico State University at the NMSU Golf Course in Las Cruces, New Mexico.

Head Coach Caylyn McKinley said

"We've talked a lot about playing with intention, and this week will really test that. When we are against a strong field it's easy to get caught up in outcomes, but our focus is on the process, trusting our game, committing to each shot, and staying mentally strong from the first tee to the final putt. I'm excited to see what our ladies can do out here and we are ready for a fun week. "
