CEDAR CITY, Utah - The Southern Utah women's basketball team has signed freshman post-player Diana Sorrondo from Arroyo Grande, Calif. The decorated center proved dominant in high school, and will look to do the same for the Thunderbirds when she joins the team in the 2026-2027 season.

Head Coach Tracy Mason Said

"Diana will be a great addition to our team. At 6'4, she's long and athletic. She's a proven defender and loves to be in the gym. We're so excited she's joining our T-bird family."
