CEDAR CITY, UTAH -- The Southern Utah Men's Basketball team has its sights set on another P4 team as they take on the Cougars of Washington State.

Matchup History
The Thundebirds are 1-2 all-time against the Cougars, with the last matchup a 55-36 win back in 2003 in Cedar City.
The Thunderbirds
SUU is averaging 78 points per game but allowing 89. As a team, the T-Birds shoot 43% from the field and 25% from deep.
A positive rebounding margin has been a big emphasis for Coach Jeter this season, and the T-Birds average 40 rebounds per game, compared to 38 for their opponents.
Elijah Duval now leads the team in scoring at 12.8 points per game, but Jaiden Feroah isn't far behind at 12.6. Duval also leads the team with 21 assists on the year, and Feroah leads the team in rebounds (6.6) and blocks (15).
Dylan Jones leads the team with 10 three-pointers made on 30 attempts, and Tanner Hayhurst is just behind him with seven makes on 14 attempts.
The Cougars
Washington State has one win on the year against St. Thomas (Minn). An 81-71 win at home. The Cougars lost their season opener to Idaho 81-83.
WSU scores 75 points per game and gives up 80 to opposing teams. The Cougars are shooting 44% from the field and 29% from three.
Emmanuel Ugbo leads the team in scoring at 14 per game, with Tomas Thrastarson coming in at 12 and Ace Glass averaging 10. Both Ugbo and Thrastarson are 5-12 from three this season.
Only one player for the Cougars has registered more than seven assists this year.
The Cougars were picked to finish sixth in the WCC, just behind Oregon State, and just ahead of LMU.
