Matchup History

The Thunderbirds and the Huskies have squared off against each other just one other time. In 2006, in Seattle, WA, the Thunderbirds fell to the Huskies 72-87.

The Thunderbirds

SUU is now 4-7 on the year after a narrow loss to Oregon State last time out. The Thunderbirds cut the lead to just eight points late in the second half, but couldn't get enough stops down the stretch and ultimately fell 70-81.

The T-Birds still have a positive point differential this year, scoring 80.4 points per game while allowing opponents to score 80.3.

SUU is shooting 46% from the field, 31% from deep, and 74% from the free throw line.

Elijah Duval has a narrow lead in scoring for the T-Birds, averaging 13.5 points per game, with Jaiden Feroah just behind him at 13.3. Feroah has made 23 consecutive free throws and is 30-for-31 from the charity stripe this year.

Feroah had a career night against Oregon State, setting a career-high in points (27) and assists (5). He leads the WAC in blocked shots with 24 and free-throw percentage at 97%.

The Thundebirds average just under 40 rebounds per game and have a +2.7 assist-to-turnover ratio.

The Huskies

UW is 6-3 on the year, and most recently knocked off No. 24 USC after a big second-half comeback. The Huskies' three losses came to Baylor, Colorado, and UCLA.

UW is averaging 82 points per game and allowing opponents to score 74. Their shooting splits are 44/34/75 on the year.

The Huskies are led by a potential lottery pick in the 2026 NBA Draft, Hannes Steinback. The freshman forward from Germany is averaging 18.5 points per game on 63% from the field and 4-6 from three. He pulls down nearly 13 rebounds per game, including 32 offensive rebounds on the year.

JJ Mandaquit leads the team from a point guard perspective, with 36 assists on the year and just 14 turnovers.

Quimari Peterson is the Huskies' best three-point shooter, making 22 this year on 61 attempts.

Wesley Yates III is second on the team in scoring at 16 per game—Zoom Diallo, Desmond Claude, and Peterson all average double figures in scoring as well.
