CEDAR CITY, UTAH -- The SUU Men's Basketball team will be in Abilene, Texas, for the first of a three-game road stretch on Thursday, February 20th.
Head Coach Rob Jeter said
"We did some good things last week. We proved that we can play with anybody in the conference, it is just about limiting mistakes and not beating ourselves. ACU beat us at home, so we gotta go in there and get some payback."

Matchup History
- The teams played on February 8, and ACU came away with an 84-70 win that evened the all-time series at two wins per.
The Thunderbirds
SUU was without Tavi Jackson on the February 8 matchup, and Jackson is coming off one of his best performances of the season against Utah Valley, in which he scored 16 points and was in complete control of the game.
Dominique Ford is also coming off his best performance of the year. He scored 28 points on 12-22 from the field. He is now averaging just under 17 points per game in his seven conference games. Jamir Simpson is also just under 17 points per game, which puts them at fourth and fifth in the WAC, respectively.
SUU has the most offensive rebounds since starting conference play, with 138 through 12 games. Brock Felder and Jeffrey (JT) Langston Jr have been instrumental in that success, both averaging right around two per game.
Dominique Ford and Tavi Jackson have only played seven of the 12 conference games for the Thunderbirds and are a huge part of the team's success. Having the whole team available has been a struggle for SUU this season, but they will look to build on a positive week against the in-state rivals.
Scout The Wildcats
After starting conference play at 1-8, the Wildcats have rattled off three straight victories, including most recently blowing the third-ranked Seattle U Redhawks 75-59.
That win streak includes the Thunderbirds back on February 8.
Bradyn Hubbard and Quion Williams have been a big part of that success, averaging just under 13 points per game in conference play.
ACU leads the league in steals per game, averaging just under 11 in conference play. They're holding teams to under 70 points per game in conference but are still at a -2.0 point differential.
Leonardo Bettiol has struggled since starting conference play but is still averaging 13.5 ppg and is a dangerous scorer in the post.
