CEDAR CITY, Utah – Southern Utah freshman Mia Hampton has once again been named the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation (MPSF) Freshman of the Week, marking her eighth recognition this season.
Head Coach Scotty Bauman Said
"Mia has had a fantastic run this season, and we hope to see her continue to perform at a high level and finish strong."
Mia Hampton – Freshman of the Week
Hampton's standout performance in a competitive road meet against Boise State earned her this latest accolade. She opened the meet with a solid 9.800 on the uneven bars, followed by an impressive 9.825 on both vault and floor. Her floor routine was instrumental in the Thunderbirds' stellar 49.325 floor rotation, one of their best of the season.

A native of Meridian, Idaho, Hampton has been consistently excellent throughout her freshman campaign, contributing significantly to SUU's success this season. Hampton will look to continue a strong freshman season at the MPSF Championship this weekend in Alaska.
