Feroah Named to Big Sky Preseason All-Conference Team

CEDAR CITY, Utah – Southern Utah forward Jaiden Feroah was named to the 2026-27 Big Sky Men's Basketball Preseason All-Conference Team, the league announced Wednesday, October 14, as the Thunderbirds prepare for their first season back in the Big Sky.

Feroah is one of seven players on the preseason team, joining Northern Colorado's Langston Reynolds (Preseason MVP), Montana State's Jed Miller, Eastern Washington's Andrew Cook and Alton Hamilton IV, Portland State's Koren Johnson and Ethan Potter.

A Strong Debut Season in Cedar City

The Draper, Utah, native and Corner Canyon High School product was the only Thunderbird to start all 32 games in 2025-26, his first season at SUU. He earned a spot on the WAC All-Defensive Team.

Feroah averaged 13.5 points per game, second on the team, and led SUU in rebounding (6.7 per game), blocked shots (52) and minutes (958). He shot 55.4 percent from the field, 41.5 percent from three-point range (39-of-94) and 86.5 percent from the free-throw line (77-of-89).

He was even better in conference play, averaging 13.9 points and 7.2 rebounds while shooting 58.1 percent from the field and 44.4 percent from deep across 18 WAC games.

Feroah was named WAC Newcomer of the Week on Jan. 26 after averaging 26.5 points and 11.5 rebounds while shooting 74 percent from the field in two games. That stretch included an 18-point, 11-rebound, five-assist performance in SUU's 84-70 win against top-ranked Utah Valley on Jan. 21, capped by a late corner three that sealed the victory.

His 35 points on 13-of-16 shooting on Jan. 24 were the most by any Thunderbird in a game last season. He also had a team-best eight blocks against UTRGV on Nov. 8 and scored 22 points in SUU's WAC Tournament quarterfinal in Las Vegas.

Before arriving at SUU, Feroah played a season at Holy Cross and two at Green River College, where he was named Northwest Athletic Conference Player of the Year as a sophomore after averaging 18.0 points and 10.4 rebounds per game.

Southern Utah was picked 10th in both the Big Sky coaches' poll (25 points) and media poll (85 points). Montana State was the preseason favorite in both polls, receiving seven first-place votes from coaches and 19 from media.
