CEDAR CITY, Utah -- Southern Utah Women's Basketball is gearing up for the 4th annual Meet the T-Birds event, set for Friday, October 30, in the Sharwan Smith Student Center Ballroom.
"Meet the T-Birds is one of my favorite events of the year because our fans get to see this team up close before the season even starts," said head coach Tracy Mason. "This program doesn't compete without the people in that ballroom, and this is our chance to say thank you and give everyone a chance to get to know who we're building this season around."
Last year's Meet The T-Birds brought together fans, donors, and alums for an evening that mixed a lively silent auction with an up-close look at the Southern Utah Women's Basketball program. Guests enjoyed dinner and conversation with players and coaches, bid on a wide range of auction items donated by local businesses and supporters, and helped kick off the season with the kind of energy that has made this one of the program's signature fan events.
This year's event gives fans and supporters the chance to spend an evening with the 2026-27 Southern Utah Women's Basketball program ahead of the upcoming season. Doors open with a silent auction beginning at 5:30 p.m., with the main event starting at 6 p.m. Attire is business casual.
Guests will hear from head coach Tracy Mason and student-athletes, enjoy a seated dinner and dessert, and will receive a raffle ticket for a chance to win a signed jersey. The evening also includes a silent auction, with items to be announced.
Tickets are $25 per person. Two table sponsorship options are available:
Lighting Table Sponsor -- a table of 8 guests, 10 raffle tickets, and recognition during the event.
T-Bird Table Sponsor -- a table of 7 guests plus your choice of a women's basketball student-athlete seated at your table, 20 raffle tickets, and recognition during the event.
