CEDAR CITY, UTAH -- The Big Sky Conference has officially announced the men's basketball 2026-27 conference schedule.
Head Coach Rob Jeter said
"It is exciting to be back in the Big Sky this year. The travel is a little more team-friendly and that will be a benefit. I am excited as a head coach to get to see the different venues in the conference and get a lay of the land. The quality of play is very high, and it is going to be important for us to get off to a strong start with two early home conference games."

The 2026-27 season marks the first year back in the Big Sky for Southern Utah Athletics, and that means a complete refresh of what the conference slate looks like for the SUU Men's Basketball team.
With 11 full-time members in the Big Sky, the conference will use a 20-game double round-robin format, with each team facing every other conference opponent at home and on the road.
The Thunderbirds' schedule will start with two conference games in early December, in between non-conference games.
SUU will open conference play in the America First Event Center on December 3 against Idaho State, followed by a game versus in-state rival Weber State on December 5.
SUU's first conference road trip of the year will be on December 31 and January 2, when the Thunderbirds head to Eastern Washington and Idaho.
Other key matchups for the Thunderbirds include hosting the reigning Big Sky regular-season champs on January 9 and hosting the reigning Big Sky Tournament champs, Idaho, on February 4.
The Thunderbirds will also welcome the Trailblazers to the AFEC on February 13, and then the final two conference matchups of the year are at home on February 27 against NAU and March 1 versus Montana.
