At SUU, 2009: Earned first-team all-Great West Conference honors after tallying 68 tackles, 35 solo, with 2.5 tackles for loss. Also broke up three passes, recorded a quarterback hurry and blocked a kick. Also forced one fumble and recovered a team-high four, returning one for a school-record 99 yards and a score against Texas State. Tallied a personal-best 15 tackles against Eastern Washington; his blocked punt also came against the Eagles. Missed two games early in the season but still finished tied for third on the team in tackles.
At SUU, 2008: Earned first-team all-Great West Conference honors. Played in and started 10 of 11 games, missed one with injury but still wound up second on the team in tackles with 76, including seven tackles for loss. Also broke up a pair of passes, had two QB hurries, forced two fumbles and recovered two fumbles. Had two double-figure tackle games, with 12 at Montana (including 10 solo stops) and 13 at home against Northern Arizona.
At SUU, 2007: Appeared in nine games, playing cornerback and on special teams. Tallied 13 tackles, nine solo, with one tackle for loss and one pass break-up. Returned six kickoffs a total of 128 yards, including a 46-yarder at Montana State, the team’s second-longest return of the season. At SUU, 2006: Spent the season as a redshirt.
Personal: Prepped at Las Vegas HS where he earned all-state and all-region recognition. Is majoring in biology/zoology.
