At SUU, 2009: Earned first-team all-Great West Conference honors as well as honorable mention all-America recognition from the College Sports Network after leading the team in interceptions (four) and passes broken up (seven) and finishing second on the squad with 83 tackles. Led the team with 58 solo tackles and also had 3.5 tackles for loss, forced three fumbles and recovered another. A two-time GWC defensive player of the week, earning the honors for his 13-tackle performance against UC Davis and again for his 10-tackle performance at San Diego, where his interception in the final minute sealed the T-Bird victory. Two of his forced fumbles came vs. UC Davis and at San Diego, with the third coming in the opener vs. Dixie State. In addition to at San Diego the interceptions came against North Dakota and at South Dakota as well as against UC Davis, when he returned the pick 46 yards for a touchdown.
At SUU, 2008: Earned first-team all-GWC honors after finishing fifth on the squad and first among cornerbacks with 59 tackles and leading the team in interceptions (two) and passes broken up (six). Also had 3.5 tackles for loss as well as a sack and a fumble recovery. Had seven or more tackles in seven of 11 games.
At SUU, 2007: Earned second-team all-GWFC honors after tallying 34 tackles, 25 solo, five TFLs, a half-sack, intercepting a pass and breaking up three more. Played in all 11 games, started the last seven.
Personal: Prepped at Las Vegas High School where he helped the Wildcats to three region and one state championships. Earned first team all-region honors as well as academic all-state recognition. Tallied over 50 tackles with 12 interceptions. Parents are Diane and Thomas Pretlow. Is majoring in human nutrition.
