Biography
2006-07 Highlights: Started every game, led or co-led team in scoring in five. Hit 22 of his final 45 regular-season 3-point attempts (48.8 percent). When all regular-season games are considered he ranked seventh in the Mid-Con in 3-point percentage (.411) and 14th in 3-pointers made (1.52 3pg); in Mid-Con games only he was ninth in 3-point percentage (.417) and 10th in 3-pointers per game (1.79). Was third on team in scoring (9.5 ppg), rebounds (3.6 rpg), field goals per game (3.4) and FG attempted (7.3) and second in both 3-point categories (1.5 3pg, 3.7 attempts). Scored 14 points with five rebounds, an assist and a steal vs. Oakland. Had 11 points, two boards and a block vs. IUPUI. Tied his career-high with seven rebounds and also led team with 14 points vs. UMKC; hit a pair of three pointers down the stretch to help team overcome a 2-point deficit and seal the win. Scored 12 points, including eight in the final minutes as SUU overcame a 7-point deficit at home against Western Illinois, also pulled down four rebounds. Scored 15 points on 6-of-10 shooting (3-4 threes) at Oakland. Hit 8-of-12 shots (including 5-6 threes) vs. Centenary for a career-high 24 points, also had seven rebounds, another career-high; hit three straight 3-point attempts early in the second half when the team broke it open against the Gents. Tied his then-career-high with six boards vs. ORU. Scored 12 points with four rebounds and three steals with no turnovers at UVSC. Pulled down six rebounds at Idaho, also had six points in 24 minutes. Led the team with 17 points, hitting 5-of-10 shots, 3-of-6 threes and all four of his free throws vs. UVSC; also had three boards, an assist and a steal. Co-led team with 11 points at BYU where he hit 3-of-5 3-pointers and both his free throws, also had four rebounds. Led team with 13 points and pulled down five rebounds vs. Idaho in just 16 foul-plagued minutes on the floor. Led the team with 19 points at Denver when he hit 8-of-10 shots, also had two boards, a steal and an assist. Was second on squad in scoring with 16 points at Utah where he hit 7-of-9 shots.
At Daytona Beach College: Averaged 6.2 points and 5.8 rebounds for coach Brad Underwood’s Falcons, helping the team to a 25-5 record in 2005-06. Also spent one season at College of Southern Idaho playing for former SUU player and coach Barrett Peery.
At A-Z International Secondary School: Averaged 21.1 points, 11.9 rebounds and 2.1 assists per game his senior season when he was named his team’s MVP and the conference’s men’s basketball student athlete of the year. Also lettered in soccer and table tennis.
