At Snow College: Earned first-team all-America honors last year after ranking seventh in the nation in scoring at 21.7 points per game while shooting at a .662 clip from the floor. Also earned first-team all-Scenic West Athletic Conference recognition last year when he averaged 6.6 rebounds, 2.2 assists, 1.8 steals and hit 71.4 percent of his free throws with 10 blocks. Was second in the SWAC in scoring and field goal percentage, fourth in rebounding, fifth in both offensive and defensive rebounds, and seventh in steals in 2006-07. Was the SWAC’s MVP his freshman year when he averaged 22.0 points, 7.2 rebounds, 2.4 assists and 1.2 steals per game while connecting on 58.7 percent of his shots. Led the conference in scoring, was second in rebounding, third in field goal percentage, 14th in steals and 15th in assists as a freshman.

At Alta High School: Helped the Hawks to region and state championships his senior season when he was named Utah’s 5A Most Valuable Player as well as first-team all-state and all-region. Pulled down 200 rebounds his senior season, including 90 offensive boards. Played for Team Utah in Utah vs. Russia tournament in Moscow, Russia, and was also selected to the UHSBCA all-star game.

Coach Reid On Geoff: “Geoff can play out on the wing or he can play inside. He’s a tremendous player around the basket but he can shoot the ball too. He’s also athletic, he can get up and down the floor and he’s quick around the basket. He was player of the year in the Scenic West Conference as a freshman and an all-American last year and he keeps improving all the time. He can really be a good player in this league. He can play any position on the floor if we need him to, and while I don’t see us using him at the point he’s just that kind of a player.”
