At Snow College: Averaged 6.1 points, 2.6 rebounds and 2.1 assists per game last year in helping the Badgers to a Scenic West Athletic Conference championship. Shot .504 from the field and .802 from the free throw line.

At Lone Peak High School: Earned first-team all-state honors his senior year when he helped propel the Knights all the way to the Utah 4A championship game. Averaged 12.5 points, 3.1 rebounds and 3.3 assists per game his senior season for Coach Ryan Cuff. Also lettered in track & field, finished second in the state in the high-jump. Also excelled in art, taking first place in the school’s ceramics competition.

Coach Reid On Rick: “Being Fred Roberts’ son, Rick grew up with basketball and as a result he has good knowledge of the game. He has good quickness to go to the basket and he drives and penetrates well. He does need to get more confident and consistent with his perimeter shot though. Rick is a good defender. He has long arms and can guard point guards or post players. Last year we usually put him on our opponent’s best offensive player. He’s also a good rebounder for a guard.”
