At SUU, 2009: A three-year
starter, Kristina moved to the top of SUU's career strikeouts (593) and wins
(55) charts last year ... appeared in 51 games with 41 starts ... set the SUU
single-season strikeouts record with 289 ... racked up 22 victories, the
second-highest single-season total in SUU history ... carried an ERA of 3.66 with
an overall record of 22-24, finished the season with a strikeouts-to-walks
ratio of 3.2-to-1 ... was the winning pitcher in all but two of the team's wins ...
earned Summit League all-tournament team honors after pitching every inning in
the Thunderbirds' three games, striking out 15 and carrying a 2.33 ERA through
the tourney ... led the league in strikeouts, strikeouts looking, starts and
appearances, was second in wins ... had nine double-figure strikeout games,
including a 15-K performance against UMKC and 13-K outings against Idaho State
and Centenary.
At SUU, 2008: Made 47 appearances, starting 38 games ... tallied 18 wins, marking the third most by an SUU pitcher in a single season ... struck out 176, marking the fourth-best total in SUU history ... ran her career win total to 34, ranking second all time at SUU ... also ranks second on the SUU record books after recording her 304th strikeout during the year ... led the team in every pitching category.
At SUU, 2007: Member of the 2007 Mid-Continent Conference championship team, named to the all-tournament team ... picked up the win in the Thunderbirds' first-ever NCAA tournament victory, a 9-4 triumph over Cal Poly ... was also the winner in two of SUU’s three Mid-Con tournament games ... allowed just one earned run in 18 innings at the Mid-Con tournament ... pitched in 43 games with an ERA of 3.81 ... had a record of 16-16 with 128 strikeouts ... her 16 wins led the team, as did her ERA ... had a 2.31 ERA in conference games.
At Desert Pines HS: Hit .660 her senior year with an ERA of .84 with 248 strikeouts ...received the all-sports award, was named Nevada's4A player of the year in 2006 and team's MVP all for years in high school ... a first-team all-state and all-conference performer.
