Personal: A two-time all-state running back for coach Jim Batchelor’s Layton Lancers. Earned first-team all-state and all-region honors as a senior after carrying 145 times for 998 yards and 13 touchdowns at Layton High School; also had 300 receiving yards and made 22 tackles with five sacks on the other side of the ball in 2008. Region MVP and a member of the student-athlete honor roll. Also earned one basketball letter and three in baseball for the Lancers, earning second-team all-state honors in baseball and the Davis County All-Around Athlete of the Year award last year. Best football game was against Jordan High, when he ran for 185 yards and a pair of scores. A high honor roll student. Parents are Sene and David Williams. Plans to major in either business or communications with a criminology minor.
