At SUU, 2010: Earned 2011 pre-season all-American honors from Consensus Draft Services. Was a consensus first-team all-Great West Conference performer at defensive end after leading the team in tackles-for-loss (18.5 for 61 yards) and sacks (7-37) and leading the team’s linemen in tackles with 52 (29 solo). Earned College Football Performance Award’s weekly honorable mention honors four times and Great West Conference Player of the Week award once in 2010. Earned the CFPA award following the Wyoming, Northern Arizona, North Dakota and South Dakota games and the GWC honor following the South Dakota game. At Wyoming he finished with five tackles (four solo), with 3.5 TFLs and a sack. He tallied nine tackles against NAU (five solo), with 3.5 TFLS and a sack. At North Dakota he earned the recognition after racking up nine solo tackles and two TFLs (both sacks). He had six tackles (three solo) and was in on 4.5 TFLS, including 1.5 sacks to ear his award for the South Dakota game. Participated in 2010 spring practice after transferring from Snow College.

At Snow College: Earned first-team all-Western States Football League and honorable mention all-America honors last year after helping the Badgers to a conference championship and a Top of the Mountains Bowl win. Racked up 91 tackles and two sacks last season for Coach Steve Coburn’s Badgers

Personal: Prepped at Weber High School in Pleasant View, Utah, where he earned three letters for Coach Richard Murray’s Warriors. Had over 100 tackles with five sacks and two interceptions his senior season when he earned first-team all-region and all-area honors as well as second-team all-state recognition. Also played running back, rushing for 357 yards with 75 yards receiving. In addition to football he also lettered one season in basketball. Wife is Emily, has a son Dreydan, parents are Trudy and Ron. Criminal justice major.
