Biography

2010: Appeared in 34 games with four starts during the year ... hit .167 from the plage in only 12 at bats with a pair of hits.

Before SUU: Played two seasons at Salt Lake Community College, helping the Bruins to regular-season and tournament championships ... batted .421 with seven RBI and 22 runs scored in an injury-shortened season last year when she was successful on all five of her stolen base attempts, had two doubles and hit a home run in just 19 at bats.

Prep: Graduate of Layton High School where she lettered in softball, basketball and volleyball.

Personal: Parents are Patti and Kenith Swopes ... majoring in broadcast communications.
