Biography
At SUU, 2011-12: Appeared in 22 games, all off the bench, averaged 2.4 points and 1.2 rebounds per game. Hit all three of his shots and had three offensive rebounds, finished with six points and five rebounds at home vs. Troy. Scored four points and pulled down a rebound in the first ORU game. Scored six points with three boards at Weber State. Hit 3-of-4 shots and pulled down three rebounds at UMKC. Hit two free throws to send NDSU game into overtime. Hit 2-of-5 shots and pulled down two rebounds, also had an assist, a steal and the team's only block at Oakland. Hit his only shot attempt in the Summit semifinals against South Dakota St.
2010-11 Highlights: Came off the bench in 13 of the last 17 games after starting the previous five. Team's leading scorer off the bench three times, with nine at Centenary, eight vs. WIU and six vs. IUPUI. Led or co-led the team in rebounds three times, in steals twice and in blocks three times. Scored five points and had an assist on a critical second-half basket as SUU completed its comeback at WIU. Came off the bench to score eight points and pull down three boards with an assist vs. WIU. Had one of his best games in conference play at Centenary where he came off the bench to score nine points, pull down five rebounds, dish out two assists and block two shots. Got his first start vs. Panhandle St., responded with six points, six rebounds, two blocks, two assists, a steal an no turnovers in 18 minutes. Tied his career-high with six boards, also scored eight points and blocked a shot vs. Weber St. Dished out a career-high four assists, blocked a shot, had two steals and two rebounds and hit 5-of-7 shots against IPFW to finish with 10 points. Came off the bench for 25 minutes to give the team a spark with a career-best 12 points on 6-of-6 shooting at Oakland, also had a rebound and an assist. Scored six points, co-led team with four rebounds, had two assists and blocked a shot against Ball State.
At Grayson County: Earned first-team all-conference honors
his freshman season when he averaged 9.6 points, 6.7 rebounds, 2.0 assists and
a block per game for Coach Pat Rafferty's Vikings.
At Alta High School: Earned Utah 5A all-state honors his
senior season when he averaged 13 points, nine rebounds and nearly three blocks
per game and helping Coach Tony Cannon's Hawks to their second straight region
championship. Also earned a pair of golf letters at AHS.
