At SUU, 2012-13: Come off the bench in 19 games. Had two rebounds vs. Green Bay and CS Fullerton, led team with six assists vs. Fullerton at World Vision Classic. Hit a shot clock-beater to spark a 10-2 run in the first half against North Dakota, his first points as a T-Bird, also had a pair of rebounds and an assist vs. UND.

At Grace Preparatory Academy: Helped lead Coach Ray Forsett's Lions to a 27-4 record and the TAPPS 4-A state championship as well as a No. 4 national rank from Max Preps in 2012. During his senior campaign he averaged 5.7 points, 7.3 assists and 2.2 rebounds to earn second-team all-district recognition. A high honor roll student throughout high school, Thomas - who graduated in the top 10% of his class - was a National Honor Society Scholar, and a National Achievement Participant. He was also a Texas Shootout All-Star and a Christian Athlete of the Year finalist. His single-game scoring high was 24 points and he once dished out 16 assists in one game.
