Southern Utah University Athletics

At SUU, 2013: 

• Earned third-team all-Big Sky honors
• Led the Thunderbirds with 110 total and 48 solo tackles after moving to linebacker from safety during the spring of 2013
• Finished the season second on the team with 13.5 TFL, picked off a pair of passes, had two sacks, recovered two fumbles, broke up two passes, had six QB hurries and forced a fumble
• Was named ROOT Sports Big Sky Player of the Week following the Fort Lewis and Montana State games
• Had three TFL, a sack, forced a fumble and recovered two fumbles vs. FLC 
• Had two interceptions, broke up a pass and finished with nine tackles vs. MSU

At SUU, 2013:

• Returned from an LDS church mission in Mexico in time to enroll in time for spring semester
• Participated in spring drills during which time he moved to linebacker

At SUU, 2010:

• Earned honorable all-Great West Conference honors at strong safety after tallying 41 tackles, 28 solo, and leading the team with three interceptions
• Also had 1.5 sacks and broke up three passes
• Had 10 tackles in the season-opener at Wyoming and six solo stops against both Cal Poly and UC Davis
• Returned one interception 44 yards for a touchdown against Dixie State, also recorded picks at Wyoming and at Eastern Washington

At SUU, 2009: 

• Appeared in all 11 games as a true freshman safety, finished fourth among safeties with 26 tackles, including 12 solo stops
• Intercepted a pass, was in on one tackle-for-loss, broke up a pass and recovered a fumble
• Best game was at NAU where he was in on nine tackles, including six solos
• His interception came against Texas State

Personal:

• Earned first-team all-Sunset Division honors as a defensive back at Centennial High after making 102 tackles and picking off four passes last season
• Rushed for 230 yards, picked of 420 yards receiving and 632 on returns in 2008 for Coach George Baker’s Bulldogs
• Also competed in basketball and baseball for CHS
• Parents are Elisabeth and Richard Holley
• Is undecided upon a major course of study
