A three-year letterman in both football and basketball at Lone Peak HS, earned second-team all-state honors and Region Four's Outstanding QB awards after passing for 30 touchdowns and over 2,700 yards
Completed 67 percent of his passes
Was also nominated for McDonald's All-American honors in basketball and was a U.S. Army All-America nominee
