Joined the team for spring ball and worked out at defensive line before moving to fullback in the fall
Appeared in six games at fullback and started the final two games of the season on the defensive line
Served as a blocking fullback but tallied 10 tackles in his two games on the D-line, including four solo stops and one TFL

Prep:

Prepped at Fremont HS where he was a two-time all-region performer at defensive end. Helped Coach Kory Bosgieter's Wolves to a pair of state runner-up finishes, in 2011 and 2012
Tallied 110 tackles with 6.5 sacks and an interception during his high school career
