Jessica Thomas is in her first season as assistant golf coach at Southern Utah.

A four year letter-winner at Weber State University, Coach Thomas competed in every tournament during her career. Thomas, who finished first in a pair of dual matches while playing at WSU, served as the Wildcats’ team captain her senior season. A four-year Collegiate Golf Coaches Association academic all-American, Thomas graduated with a degree in anthropology this past spring.

She began playing golf at age five ane entered her first tournament when she was 13. In addition to her playing credentials, she also taught golf at Salt Lake City’s Cottonwood Club and is currently an assistant at Cedar Ridge Golf Course.

A native of Layton, Utah, Thomas is a graduate of Layton High School, where she was a three-year letter-winner on the men’s golf team,where she played No. 1 her senior year.
