At SUU, 2010: Earned first-team all-GWC honors from the coaches and second-team recognition from the media after leadin the team in rushing with 764 yards and five touchdowns on 133 attempts. Was also a threat as a receiver as he finished third on the team in receptions with 27, for 257 yards. Finished the season third on the team in all-purpose yards with 1,021. Broke the 100-yard rushing mark three times, at Texas State (14 carries for 102 yards), vs. Northern Arizona (19 carries for 140 yards) and vs. South Daota (17 carries for 137 yards). His best receiving day was at UC Davis where he caught seven passes for 75 yards but at Texas State he had a season best 163 all-purpose yards as he caught six passes for 61 yards in addition to his rushing total. Had the team’s longest run, a 54-yarder vs. South Dakota, also had a 50-yard TD run vs. NAU. Earned College Football Performance Award honorable mention honors following the NAU game and Great West Conference Player of the Week recognition following the South Dakota game.
At SUU, 2009: Started five games at running back, led team in rushing with 99 carries for 544 yards and a touchdown; also caught 23 passes for 229 yards and four more scores. Rushed for 147 yards in the opener and 111 at San Diego State for the first back-to-back 100 yard rushing performances at SUU since Charles Henderson did it in 2002. In essence he sat out two games as he missed the Texas State game with an injury suffered on his first carry at Utah State.
At SUU, 2008: Squad member. Carried 10 times for 29 yards and caught three passes for 45 more in the 2009 Red/White Scrimmage.
At SUU, 2007: Spent the season as a redshirt.
Personal: Graduate of Cedar City's Canyon View High School, where he rolled up 2,024 rushing yards his senior season en-route to first-team all-state and all-region honors playing for Coach Randy Hunter, a former SUU standout. Tallied 361 rushing yards – the third-highest single-game total in Utah history – against Millard High in 2006. Also lettered in wrestling, soccer and track & field for the Falcons. Wife is Whitney, daughter Brayli. His father, Kelvin Minefee, was an all-conference running back for the Thunderbirds in 1988 and 1989 and is still listed among the SUU top-10 in numerous statistical categories. Mother is Jan Arterburn. Is undecided upon a major course of study.
