At SUU: 2010: Earned academic all-Great West and second-team all-GWC honors from both the coaches and media after leading the Thunderbirds with 97 tackles, including a team-high 51 solo stops. Also had a pair of tackles for loss as well as an interception which he returned 73 yards for a touchdown at UC Davis. He also broke up a pass, recovered two fumbles and was credited with a quarterback hurry.
At SUU, 2009: Played in nine games at linebacker and safety, finished the season with 20 tackles, seven solo, and broke up a pair of passes. Had a season-high five tackles at South Dakota, including a season-best three solo stops.
At SUU, 2008: Was pressed into duty in the season-opener at Air Force because of injuries to teammates and he responded by racking up 16 tackles, 11 solo, against the Falcons. Was slowed somewhat by injuries himself later in the season but finished ninth on the team with 47 tackles, including 30 solo stops, had two interceptions and broke up a pass in 10 games. Tallied eight tackles in the 2009 spring game, with five solo stops and a TFL.
At SUU, 2007: Spent the season as a redshirt.
Personal: Prepped at Union High School, where he was the football team’s offensive player of the year following his
senior season when he played on both sides of the ball. Tallied 60 tackles with four interceptions as a senior when he earned first-team all-region recognition. Also lettered in baseball and basketball, was named Gatorade Athlete of the year for 2006 in basketball. Also earned the Marine Athlete Award. Parents Are Diane and Brent Fenn. Majoring in physical education and human performance.
