At SUU, 2006: Started all 11 games at right guard for the Thunderbirds last year.

At Scottsdale CC: Was a two-year starter at guard and center for the Artichokes, helping the team to a WSFL championship and an appearance in the Valley of the Sun Bowl his freshman year when the team went 9-1.

Personal: Graduate of Winslow High School, where he was a four-year football letterman, a two-year team captain, a two-year all-region performer and an all-state selection following his senior season. Helped the Bulldogs to a pair of North Conference championships. Also lettered in baseball and wrestling for WHS. Parents are Sally and Mike Guzman. Is majoring in physical education.
