Will Greenberg

Will Greenberg was hired as the Director of Strength and Conditioning for Southern Utah Athletics in March of 2016.

Coach Greenberg oversees all strength and conditioning programs for SUU's 15 Division I athletic teams, and is directly responsible for football and men's basketball. He oversees nutrition and supplementation for all student-athletes. His staff includes two full-time assistants and two interns.

He aims to develop the SUU Strength and Conditioning Department to be one of the preeminent athletic performance programs in the country.

Greenberg spent the last two seasons at Army West Point where he was the assistant strength and conditioning coach. In his first season, Greenberg helped the Black Knights’ add 1,900 pounds during an off-season that focused on proper nutrition, fundamentals and form.

Greenberg went to West Point after two years as the Director of men’s basketball strength and conditioning at Appalachian State University. There, he designed and implemented all programs for the men’s basketball program as well as managing the weight room, staff, budgets and nutrition.

Prior to his work at Appalachian State, Greenberg was an assistant strength coach at the University of Florida, working with the basketball program as well as the nationally ranked golf and tennis squads.

Greenberg also worked with Clemson University men’s and women’s basketball and at Elite Athlete Training Services. He began his career as an intern at the University of Maryland.

A 2010 graduate of the University of Maryland, Greenberg earned his degree in Kinesiology as a three-year starter on the baseball team. He is pursuing his masters in Nutrition from the University of Bridgeport. Current certifications include CSCS, USA-W1, and PICP Level 2.


Will and his wife, Meg, reside in Cedar City, UT.
